This month’s zine is a true story. I was in a Prague hotel sipping a midnight cognac when someone asked:
“Have you ever seen **** Club?”
I hadn’t, and the people around me hadn’t, and so three men huddled together to watch **** Club on a smartphone.
It’s a memory that always makes me laugh, but after writing it down, I'm left thinking about how everyone in the scene was overextending themselves. All of us should have been asleep, all of us were raging against something by staying up late, and yet everyone’s night culminated in sharing an information hazard.
The title of this zine comes from the concept that some information is too dangerous to be shared. It’s a fun, albeit silly premise for a story, but I never gave it real-world consideration until that night in Prague. Now I concede that some knowledge, like the entirety of **** Club, is probably net-negative for humanity.
